Computer modules for analogue KVM matrix systems

Any computer module has a unique ID, which helps identify the device within a central module. We provide the following variants of computer modules.

Basic computer modules

The basic computer modules for the analogue KVM matrix system make it possible to configure your system to exactly fit your needs. They are divided by the transmitted video signal and are available in additional variants. These expansion stages and additional functions can be found below.

Standard

Standard variant

CATpro2 modules combine signals, process them, and use CAT cables to transmit said signals to the KVM matrix switch.

Available for the following signals:

VGA
Keyboard/ Mouse PS/2, PS/2-DEC, USB oder SUN-USB (DE/US)

DVI-A

Standard variant for DVI-A

Standard variant available for the following signals:

DVI-A
Keyboard/Mouse PS/2, PS/2-DEC, USB

DVI-Audio-UC

Standard variant for single-link DVI

Variant for connecting computers with DVI single-link video at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. Converts DVI to VGA. Designed as dual module with audio support for the connection to two CATCenter clusters.

Transmits the following signals:

DVI single-link
Keyboard/mouse USB or SUN-USB (DE/US)
Audio (Line Out)

Audio is exclusively supported by CATCenter NEO.

Additional variants of computer modules

In addition to our basis modules we offer you functions and expansions such as integrated audio support, longer connection cables or the UserCenter to connect a computer to two CATCenter clusters.

Audio

Connection for unidirectional audio signal

Available for the following signals:

UC

UserCenter variants

UserCenter variant to connect a computer to two CATCenter clusters.

Available for the following signals:

VGA

Extended

Extended connection cable

Standard variant with extended connection cable for installing telescopic rails in rack mounted servers (total length of housing and cable = 120 cm).

For the following signals:

VGA
Keyboard/Mouse PS/2, PS/2-DEC, USB or SUN-USB (DE/US)

VT100

Converts the VT100 protocoll into VGA and PS/2

Variant for connecting serial servers or other components (e.g. network devices) without graphical interface via serial interface. Converts VT100 protocol to VGA and PS/2. The CATpro2-VT100 can be configured and operated over graphical user interface.
